Interior Design For Beginners
Course Description:
This course introduces you to many of the core aspects of residential interior design, The course is ideal if you have a keen interest in the area of Interior Design and would like to update your home or if you wish to explore the possibility of a career change it’s a great starting point. Each week we will look at the following aspects of interior design and you will learn the tips and tricks from a qualified Interior Designer.
- Concept development & finding your style
- Colour theory & colour psychology
- Space Planning, clutter & storage
- Window treatments
- Kitchens (including countertops and islands)
- How to choose the right accessories for your home
- Materials (flooring, wallpaper & paint…)
- Lighting
- Design hacks & upcycling furniture
- Bathroom designs & layouts
- Design panelling
- Trends
Course Day & Time: Monday evenings 7.30 – 9.30 pm
Start Date: 14/09/26
Cost: €110
Course Format: In class with tutor
Duration: 10 weeks – Maximum of 12 students in class
