“I hold a MSc in Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology from Ulster University Jordanstown, and im currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Elite Performance with Dublin City University.  I have acted as a performance psychologist for with many championship and league winning elite level senior hurling and football teams (GAA) at inter county level.  My experience also includes working with younger athletes in hockey, rugby and athletics.

I currently work as a Gaelic Games Promotion Officer for Dublin GAA. I organise and deliver Coach Education modules for volunteers who are interested in getting involved in coaching.  I am an Award 2 Coach Developer and I deliver coach education programmes for Dublin GAA and Leinster GAA.  I also work with  mentors and players to help develop their psychological skills in ensuring both coach and player can reach their full sporting potential.

I have experience of playing inter county hurling for 10 years and I have been exposed to the highs and lows that elite level sport brings from being involved.  I still enjoying playing sport and the lower level and I currently coach at senior inter county level.”

Are there still openings to run the course on Mondays?  I know you also suggested Thursdays.  And i’d gladly take that as a second option.  I also remember you mentioning the start date of the course is the last week in January.  I’m actually away on holidays on the last week of January.  Would it be possible to start on the first week of February?

I can give you a call at some stage today or tomorrow if  you would like to further discuss?  Apologies that I missed your calls yesterday, I was undertaking some CPD work and was unable to answer the calls.
