Course Description: (outdoor running class)
Turn off your TV, off the couch and start running your first 5km
The best news is that no prior running experience is necessary.
In 10 weeks you will be able to run 5km
It’s the perfect way to train for your first 5km or to get you started on the road to regular running.
You may think it is impossible but we will make this possible. No matter what your fitness levels are, if you are determined we will get you there & be right beside you every step of the way. Learn how to increase your fitness levels using our wide range of training methods and expertise. Simple tricks to control your breathing and learn how to get you to the 5km mark and further. We will work at your pace and we will help you increase your distance every single time. Time to make that resolution and jump on board.
Course Day & Time: Monday 7.30 – 8.30 pm
Start Date: Not available for Spring 23 but will return for Autumn 23
Course Format: This is an outdoor running class taking place in the grounds of Malahide Community School. This is not a classroom based class
Duration: 10 weeks
Tutor: My name is Sinead Clavin and I have a keen interest in running and general fitness. I have worked with all ages and abilities in different running groups in the past from park run groups to special Olympic sessions. Participating in running and exercise in a group is very rewarding both physically and socially. I find a running group like this very motivational too especially when the dark evening hit!
