Week 1: introduction to air dry clay

- what kind of art can be created
- what additional materials we can use with clay
- examples of finished work
- discussion, questions and answers
Week 2: Flat 3d air dry clay plate embossing method using clay tools.

Week 3: Flat 3D artwork tile

Week 4: 3D artwork on glass bottle (floral theme) using modelling wire and aluminum foil

Week 6: 3d artwork wall hanging ornaments using variety of shapes cutters (layered 3d tile)

Course Day & Time: Monday evenings 7.30 – 9.30

Cost: €170 (Please note: Payment Plan Option available – 2 payments of €85)
Note : The price includes all the materials needed to complete the project for each participant. This includes
- Air Clay (white, terracotta)
- Set of sculpting tools
- Modeling wire
- Aluminum foil
- Acrylic board
- Canvas panels
Course Format: In class with tutor
Duration: 10 weeks – Maximum of 12 students in class

Tutor: Karolina Di Duca
Karolina is a trained mixed media artist and graphic designer (member of Design & Craft County Council, Visual artist, Art Council, Institute of Designers Ireland supported by Design Ireland Association)
She has been working as an artist in Ireland for over 10 years providing innovative, well designed unusual gifts and a unique art experience.
